AAGMAN 2007
AAGMAN 2007 for the Fall Winter Batch of 2007-09 was an energy filled evening that had it all - from the cult rock songs to the most chic fashion show, from a comic ads to heart rendering singing. After invoking the blessing of the Lord with a traditional dance presented superbly by Dhanya Nair, the evening shifted into a roller coaster ride with a high octane performance from "100Ft. Road" the IIPM Bangalore band, performing world famous songs that were in a sense a tribute to the who's who of rock. Deep Purple's 'Smoke On the Water', Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick on the Wall', Billy Joel's 'We Didn't Start The Fire' and even the latest Hip Hop rage Rihanna's 'Umbrella'. Soon after this started a medley of dances, dramas and mad ads. Salsa to Hip Hop, Sholay to Don all themes were adapted into the evening for making a wonderful blend of talent, comedy and entertainment. Then came a heart wrenching rendition of the song 'In Dino' from the movie 'Life In a Metro' from Anupam that had the audience speel bound. The grand finale, The Fashion Show lit the ramp on fire, featuring a 'Party Wear' round followed by rounds themed on 'Sweet 16' and a tribute to the 'Retro' spirit of Bollywood. The students showed great energy and passion in what they were doing and as it turned out, it was indeed the best Aagman at IIPM Bangalore. |
