It is known that every three months organizations should donate blood, as donating blood is considered to be a very noble exercise since it can save a life easily. The requirement of blood in these blood banks have increased a lot , mainly due to an increase in the rate of accidents, the number of patients getting admitted to hospitals have also increase and also there is an increase in the rate of Leukemia affected patients. Apart from these there are other varieties of reasons why the requirement of units of blood have increased in the modern times.

Keeping this in mind the students of IIPM, Bangalore, stepped forward to voluntarily donate their blood and thus contributing to a much nobler cause. The camp started at 10:30 AM and from that time students came rushing in, with an urge to contribute towards the cause. The response was phenomenal and though many of the students were not allowed to donate, due to variety of reasons, but still the enthusiasm was never dead and they were seen encouraging the other donors. They became a part of the cause, directly or indirectly.
