IIPM BIDS ADIEU TO BATCH OF ‘09

It was an evening of nostalgia, when IIPM, India’s premier B-School, held farewell revelry to bid a final good-bye to the Batch of 2009 (Fall Winter 07-09 and UG 06-09). The jamboree was organized at a premier situate. This blissful occasion was marked by the presence of IIPM’s Honorary Dean, Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri and also Dean for Undergraduate Programme, Ms. Rajita Chaudhuri, together with the students and faculty members in large numbers.

According to Mr. Arindam Chaudhuri, Honorary Dean – Centre for Economic Research & Advanced Studies, IIPM International, "Our philosophy at IIPM has always been to provide top class education and exposure, and yes, above all, great placements to all the students. This time also it is no different with almost 100% placement record in Delhi and across all branches of IIPM. Also speaking on the much hyped Recession and current economic slowdown, the Management Guru said that it is actually a time for India to rejoice and not mourn, as the Indian Economy is not directly affected by the western economies. Continuing further, he mentions, the door for greater foreign investments and new markets in our country will now open wide as the big western corporations will now target the huge mass of the ever growing Indian middle–class." He was all praises for the 'SMG', the placement cell at IIPM.

The function began by felicitating the students who topped in both the PG and UG batches of ’09 respectively. The awards & Certificates were presented by Ms. Rajita Chaudhuri and Professors of IIPM. The students were in high spirits and proud over their sense of achievement, more so for the recognition provided to them by the Institute.

The farewell highlighted the great bonding shared between the students and the Institute. The students exhibited the colors of fun and ecstasy, and were delighted over the amenities provided to them. This occasion marked a gushy but tender finish to a journey for the then largest batch at IIPM, a journey which was full of knowledge and wisdom, but as Richard Bark puts it, "Farewells are necessary……..to meet again."
