RESUME BUILDING WORKSHOP

“The way you write and what you write matters!!”

The Human Factor Club organized a resume building exercise for the students on July 15th 2006 in the IIPM Auditorium. It was quite an interactive and lively session in which the experienced hands of HRIC Mr.Srinath V Iyer and Mr. Rino Suren briefed the students, the importance of building a good resume and how to craft it. As the session progressed, lots of queries were raised by the students as to how one could market themselves in this competitive and challenging environment.

The main emphasis of the resume building exercise was mainly to give or promote the advertising activity between the employer and the prospective employee wherein it would benchmark the student as a professional in setting up career goals and maintaining high standards, also highlighting the fact that it constructs in demonstrating confidence via illustrating a desire for success.

The session left an air of confidence among the students. Also that it gained a lot of positive feedback from the students who were eagerly looking forward for such workshops.

The Resume Building Exercise apprehended another artistic initiative to the Human Factor Club which is indeed very dynamic in bringing up workshops, providing an insight to the students for their future.
