Six Sigma

Six Sigma a workshop organized by the 4Ps club of The Indian Institute of Planning and Management, Hyderabad. On 30th July, 2005 Mr. Saurabh Chandra a Green Belt certified professional currently working with “Oracle Corporation” Designs, Develops and Deploys the application with the perfection of 7 sigma value.

The workshop commenced at 3 pm in IIPM Hyderabad, Mr. Saurabh’s facilitation with the students was very productive, the management-statistical jargon was comprehended to the students in the simplest lay-man language. The workshop was fragmented into three parts; explanation, Q&A session, solving a case study. The case study was the best part of the workshop, which brought in a sense of realization amongst everybody. Every speck has to be considered in terms of Test Management, Risk Analysis and On time Delivery.

 The professional facilitated the entire session where there was interaction in both ways and one of the best ways to broaden one’s perspectives”.  The Workshop intended to provide a platform for the students and to interact with each other, enhance learning and enjoy each others company during the lighter moments.

In addition, the workshop was an eye opener for students that “every failure is learning”.
