IIPM Mumbai - Valentines Day 2007

“Express” Valentine Day Celebration

IIPM Mumbai on Valentines Day encouraged every student by giving an opportunity to secretly give a message to their friends in the class. All the students were given a red sheet of paper with a classmate’s name which was unknown to others. Students then wrote a message, poem or created something to gift that special friend.

The messages were then disclosed and given to the respective students which were sincerely cherished.

Each year Valentines Day gives all the lovers an opportunity to express their feelings to their loved ones. This year at IIPM, Mumbai the students did the same but in an unconventional manner. A bunch of students have taken the initiative of spreading the message of love amongst those who are less privileged. As a part of their awareness program IIPM students put up posters and pinned up a heart on the shirts of all present in IIPM campus on 14th February. This was to let them know that one can spread love by just spending some time with the children who have been deprived of the love that we all have been showered with. During the campaign students also did seek for donations from staff and students of IIPM, Mumbai, who then generously contributed to this cause.

The campus also voted for IIPM, Mumbai’s Mr. Valentine and Miss Valentine 2007 and the titles were won by Mr. Syed Asad (PGP(06-08)/ FW) and Ms. Soumaya Nair (PGP(06-08)/ FW).
