IIPM as an institute is known for providing an overall development opportunity to its students. The car modification workshop was an attempt towards the same.

The event was held in the IIPM campus and comprised of a few of the biggest names in the car tuning and modification industry ranging from blazed customs to wheels customs whose machines can be seen on the roads of not just Mumbai but almost in every corner of the country.

With fun this event also showed how students can use their passions to pave out a career path in life. Swapnil Patil an ex-IIPM post graduate was one of the key participants in the event. Swapnil an MBA followed his passion and now manages one of the biggest interactive auto tuning web forums (blazed.co.in) in India as well as internationally. he’s teamed his skills in marketing with his passion to form a combination that has got him tremendous fame and recognition in the car tuning scene in the country.

A Touch of Class - A Three Day Workshop

The Indian Institute of Planning and Management, Mumbai has organized “A series of Workshops “from the 23rd Nov to 25th Nov, 2006.In today’s competitive world Management students have to be the best they can be. This workshop focuses on internal growth as well as the importance of pro-active business approach .IIPM believes that Corporate Grooming, Etiquettes, Fitness and creating a different Look and Attitude helps to reduce human errors, stress and builds a brand value within an individual. It also helps in enhancing Self growth and Image building that contribute to the overall Success of an Individual. On 23rd Nov, Ms. Neesha Choksy who is a nutritionist and a Fitness expert certified by International Sports Science Association conducted a session on the benefits of excercising.She also emphasized that keeping healthy will help in working efficiciently because exercise is beneficial for the body and soul. On 24th Nov an array of experts from fields like the Hair & make –up Industry, Cosmetic and Asthetic Industry. Mr. Harish Bhatia an internationally known Hair expert demonstrated quick and easy hairstyles on the corporate look and performed a blind folded performance He is also nominated by the Guiness Book of World Record – London. Renowned Dentist Dr. Sandesh Mayekar explained the benefits from cosmetic and asthetic dentistry and an overview on smile design and Dental care.Mr. Vipul Bhagat who is a leading make-up artist demonstrated easy and quick makeover from workstyle to the evening look and how the students can present themselves in meetings and presentations with A Touch of Class. On 25th Nov, Ms. Prakriti Poddar who is a corporate grooming expert explained the students about dressing for coprporate and formal parties and etiquettes.
