THE WORLD BANK WAY

5th of October 2006 will definitely be benchmarked. For the first time IIPM students across all seven centers of IIPM with the help of video conferencing attended a seminar conducted by the World Bank and IMF. The topic for the seminar was India’s Growth: Surprises, Idiosyncrasies, Anomalies, and Challenges.

The panelist included esteemed speakers like Ms. Shanta Devarajan, Arvind Subramanian, Brian Pinto, Priya Basu, Deepak Mishra and Fayez Omar, Senior Manager, India Programs (Acting Country Director) from the World Bank and IMF.

It was truly enlightening experience and an honour to be able to communicate with the World Bank officials. This seminar proved that Geographical boundaries no longer exist, and the world has truly become a global village!!!
