IIPM Gurgaon in association with the 4P’s club organized “INNOVATION” a marketing event. All the students of IIPM Gurgaon participated in the event. In this event the students were required to come up with a totally new and innovative product which is not there in the market and they were required to promote the product through a campaign which could involve print ads, electronic ads, banners, jingles etc. They were suppose to come up with a product, design and package it, price it and then promote it. At the end they were suppose to give a presentation. The students were judged on the product they came up with i.e. how innovative was it, the design and packaging of the product, the way they promoted the product and finally on the detailed presentation given by them about the product. This event was judged by the dean of IIPM Gurgaon Prof. Sandip Kumar Ghosh. There were 10 teams and each team consisted of 10-14 students. The objective of this event was to let the students test their marketing skills.

The students came up with mind blowing product concepts like Soliomate- a solar mobile charger, MO watch, Packed Pao Bhaji, Macdro-a Hydrogen Car etc.
