Finex club had organized Financial Genius- a finance quiz. This contest entailed questions from finance stream but very general knowledge questions. Both the UG’s as well as the PG’s participated in the quiz. The contest consisted of 4 rounds. The 1st three rounds were elimination rounds. In the first round, abbreviations were given to the student of some financial terms and they were supposed to tell what that term means. The second round consisted of multiple choice questions wherein the students were asked a question with several possible options. The students were required to choose the right option. The third and the fourth round consisted of questions about the current affairs like the current inflation rate, latest mergers and acquisitions, latest companies to file bankruptcy etc. It was a very interesting event and enjoyed by all the students. This quiz added a great deal to the students existing knowledge.
