Student’s excellence program through yoga

“Yoga, an ancient but perfect science, deals with the evolution of humanity. This evolution includes all aspects of one's being, from bodily health to self realization.” Stress has been a part of every human being on this planet and most of the time it does play a hindrance in day-to-day activities of humans. Same way in the corporate world, students should realize that stress is a part-n-parcel of the job and they should know how to handle the stress so as to be effective in their work. In order to make students realize how important it is to be healthy both mentally & physically in today’s world of competition and constant change. On 5th January, 2013 IIPM Bhubaneswar conducted “Student’s Excellence Program through Yoga” which was headed by renowned YOGACHARYA Dr. Biswaranjan, a yoga instructor and a lecturer at the Utkal University in Bhubaneswar. In the workshop, students did most of the yogic asana’s, stress free exercises, pranayam, etc. Students not only did the exercises but also knew their effectiveness and why it should be practiced daily. At the end of the activity every student felt the difference both physically & mentally & they found the workshop to be quite refreshing and energetic.
