‘Team Based Learning’ initiative is a hallmark of the IIPM’s instructional method. It aims to develop high performance learning teams and serves to enhance the quality of student learning.

In addition to this in-class intervention, there are also self-study modules, case summaries that preface in class assignments and individual quizzes/internal assignments.

The overarching goal is to promote independent learning and pre-class preparation.

Unlike conventional management education in India, where the student culture remains largely dominated by a classroom “passive didactic” model, the applicability and availability of adjunctive team learning initiatives (more specifically in National Economic Planning classes) eases the transformation of the overall pedagogical framework of the course.
