IIPM Cochin conducts a session for corporate and students

Prof. Lakshman Krishnamurthi (Professor of Marketing) Kellogg School, Northwestern University came to IIPM, Cochin campus on 14th of March 2012. The morning session was allocated for the Corporate from different sectors and the afternoon session was held for IIPM Students. The topic for the session was “Marketing To win”. There were almost 20 corporates from different areas of expertise who attended the session. The CEF was held at Hotel Dreams, Cochin. It was really an awesome day for the corporates who had attended the session as they complemented the session once they left the hall. They were provided with lunch at Dreams hotel. Prof. Sanjay Banerjee also came for the session as an internal faculty of IIPM, Delhi. Both of them together made the day enlightened with marketing concepts and Strategies companies would take in order to sell their product. Students were also enriched with the session. The students understood the core value of selling a product through convincing the product.

IIPM Cochin conducts an industrial visit to FCI connectors LTD

The students from IIPM had the opportunity to go to FCI connectors LTD on 18th May, 2012. FCI OEN Connectors Ltd. is the country's prime supplier of Professional Grade Connectors. The Company is a joint venture with FCI France (earlier called Framatome Connectors France). It was incorporated on the 2nd day of June 1981. Located far away from the madding crowds of the city of Cochin in Kerala, on the outskirts of Mulanthuruthy, atop a hillock aptly named Electrogiri, the Company commands a calm and peaceful milieu. More than an industrial visit been given to the students the gathering was lively and interactive with different department heads explaining the role of supply chain management and role of Finance in manufacturing. It was a remarkable day for the students at Cochin.

IIPM Cochin conducts a GOP session by Prof. Masud Arjmand at hotel Dreams

The students from IIPM had the opportunity to attend the GOP session at hotel Dreams on 18th of June 2012. The session was delivered by Prof. Masud Arjmand (Kellogg school of Management) on the topic Talent & Corporate Performance: Challenges & Opportunities. The students were really excited to hear from the professor. The session mainly focused on role of leadership, how an employer can hire the best people from the industry and make them work. It was altogether an exciting evening for the students at IIPM, Cochin.
