IIPM Bangalore conducts an Industrial visit to COCA-COLA

The students of Fall Winter11-13 from IIPM, Bangalore visited Coca-Cola on 17th of Jan 2012. On reaching there they were taken to the reception where they met Ms. Soumaya from the QA (quality assurance) department, who first asked the students about their knowledge on Coca-Cola and was pleased with their responses. She then gave them a presentation on Safety measure to be taken during the entire tour of the plant. The students were then taken to the industrial plant where they were taken around and shown the different departments and ways related to how the work is done at the plant which included water purification, bottle washing, Filling the bottles with the drink, packaging etc. The students felt enlightened and were fascinated to see the working and functioning of Coca-cola. It was an educational experience for the students.

IIPM Bangalore organizes an Industrial visit to Resurgent HR

Hardworking, creative, well planned and a true professional is what defines Mr. Nirmal Bhardwaj, who has tasted success and always delivered his best. Mr. Nirmal Bhardwaj is the founder CEO of Resurgent Human resources. He completed his B. tech (hons) from IIT Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM Ahmadabad. Mr. Bhardwaj strongly believes that knowledge is a priceless asset that can neither be stolen nor lost and that it has to be used as the strongest weapon to survive in the corporate world. He believes that one should stay well connected with the four verticals of life that is the spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical. He advised the students that as Hr managers their communication skills have to contain content, depth and brevity. Mr. Bhardwaj shared with the students the challenges that he currently faces on a daily basis in his chosen field of Human resources. He enlightened the students with the genesis and growth oh HR as a chosen field for success, the role of HR managers and the importance of organization structure in a company. At the end of the session the students were left awestruck with the amount of knowledge that Mr. Nirmal Bharadwaj shared with them and also how he faced various hardships in life and emerged out of it to be a thorough winner!

An industrial visit to Bangalore stock exchange

Students of IIPM Bangalore visited Bangalore Stock Exchange on 14thth of February, 2012. There they met Mr. Prabhakar from Training & development department. The students were given a brief about the functioning of stock exchange and there was a power point presentation on the same. Later students were told about how the profits are generated through the stock market. He also added information regarding stock brokers. Mr. Prabhkar gave information in terms of NIFTY, BSE and elaborated on how fluctuations happen in the stock market. The session was concluded with a Q&A round and was very informative for the students.

IIPM Bangalore conducts an industrial visit to Sri Lakshmi Baalaji Minerals

IIPM Bangalore had organized an industrial visit to Sri Lakshmi Baalaji Minerals on 11th April, 2012 for the winter 12-14 batch. It was a wonderful learning experience for the students as they saw how the packaged drinking water is sent through different tests before it is sent to the market. Students have been showed the different process from Carbon filter to packaging. After the Visit most students wanted to know the estimate for the whole project as they were interested to start the same. So this visit proved to be a very interesting and knowledgeable experience for the students and faculties.

IIPM Bangalore students visit Toyota Kirloskar Motors

The students of IIPM visited the Toyota Plant on the outskirts of Bangalore on 10th July to practically look at and understand some of the most unique Innovations of Toyota. Keizen, Just In Time are all process innovated by Toyota and the students got a glimpse to their only production plant in India. Rolling out over 1200 cars a day, 2 cars every minutes with over 20,000 employees, the plant in Bangalore is an iconic change to the Industrial Revolution in Bangalore. The quest for innovation is the foundation for Toyota's new technology concepts. Unconventional ideas need room for creativity and the technologies of the future need testing in real-life conditions. This visit helped students to know more beyond the classroom studies. The visit inspires students to dream big, perform with quality, and also drive after continuous development and innovation. All in all it was a great experience for the students to visit Toyota Kirloskar Motors
