IIPM Chennai organizes Six Sigma training program

Benchmark's Six Sigma Training program was conducted by Prof. Srinivasan Kidambi in IIPM's auditorium starting from Feb 29. Prof. Srinivasan is currently working as V.P. in a leading engineering firm and is also the associate director of Benchmark. Having experience of over 35 years, Prof. Srinivasan is known for bringing out the best in students. Over 35 students participated in this valuable program.

Human Factor Club of IIPM Chennai organizes workshop on leadership by Prof. Shekhar Shukla

It started with an introduction by Balakumar followed by a bouquet that was handed over by Tanuja. The session conducted by Prof. Shekhar Shukla revolved around the word leader. He emphasized about the qualities, one must posses, in order to become a true leader. They included things like Character & Influence. He tried and successfully made the students understand, the power of influence over money by giving examples of Mahatma Gandhi & Osama Bin Laden. He also established a relation between charisma and character .Addressing the students as young generation he said that a leader without character is short lived. The session thus came to an end with Sai Vignesh giving the vote of thanks and Palani Kumar handing over the memento. The event was a great success as a feedback from students.
