IPL - The IIPM Premier League!

IIPM Premier League was back with a bang for its second season. It all started on a sunny Wednesday morning on the 20th April, 2011 at the Sindhi College located at Thiruverkadu. The season kicked off with the Royal Challengers of PGP/FW/10-12/ISBE A and UGP/10-13 playing against the Kolkata Knight Riders of PGP/FW/09-11. For being the first match of the day and the season, the match was rather disappointing as it turned out to be a one sided that resulted in the Knight Riders claiming victory. Man of the Match title was given away to Punit of the KKR team.The next match was held between the Deccan Chargers of SS/10-12/Sec-C and the Mumbai Indians team consisting of IIPM staff. This too proved to be a rather easy match with no tough fight as the IIPM staff took away the cup for the prelims and Mr.Arul from Planman being the Man of the Match. The final match for the day was between Chennai Super Kings of FW/10-12/Sec-B and the Delhi Daredevils of SS/10-12/Sec-B. Last match of the day turned out to be the exciting one amongst all matches of the prelims round. The day ended with a nail biting finish with Delhi Daredevils taking away the victory after a close chase and Natarajan was given the Man of the Match title.
