Lecture On Taxation By Prof.Vikram Chand (University of Neuchatel, Switzerland) Hyderabad

Prof.Vikram Chand (University of Neuchatel, Switzerland) have taken a lecture on Taxation for all the Students of IIPM Hyderabad. More than 40 students from were part of this lecture. Mr.Vikram started his career with Ernst & Young India’s tax practice in 2005. At EY, he advised high net worth individuals, multinationals and domestic companies on structuring cross border transactions, devising transfer pricing strategies, conceptualizing business restructurings and making representations before tax authorities. In 2010, he graduated with an Advanced Masters in International Tax Law from Leiden, Netherlands. As part of the lecture Mr.Vikram spoke on various tax policies that are the prevalent across globe and enlightened students on it.

ICICI helps the students of IIPM Hyderabad learn about the stock market

The students of IIPM Hyderabad participated in an event organized by ICICI titled " Dummy Trading in Forex" where the students learnt the practical usage of terms like time value of money, depreciation, appreciation and their effects on profits. What seemed as just definitions inside the class made more sense as the students participated in the various activities which were not just entertaining and fun filled but were a nice way to explain the various financial terms and the intricacies of the stock market.

Students of IIPM Hyderabad introduced to the various career options in finance

IIPM Hyderabad organized a session of Mr Nagin Lad the technical director/ visiting faculty/ faculty trainer at International Graduate School of Finance and currently the chief external examiner at University of Wales, Newport for ACCA skills level papers. He spoke to the students about the different career options in the field of finance. Mr Nagin's amazing knowledge and experience made the session very interesting and helped the students immensely in understanding the scope of finance. This would help them make better choices when companies come on campus for placements.
