The initial purpose of the meet was to introduce to the crowd of freshers, the various clubs that are in the IIPM campus and also to brief them about Moonwalk and Aagaman. The event however took an exciting turn, when after the briefing, “60 seconds to fame” was conducted. The excited set of freshers jumped at the opportunity given to them to showcase their talent. The event started with Abizer showing the crowd different types of pushups, followed byPrithvika, who amazed the crowd with her extempore. Sri Lakshmi, Arihant, Venkat Krishna, Manisha and Divya wowed the audience with their individual dance performances to various numbers that ranged from Hindi to English to Tamil. Banupriya, Janani, Neelam, Niveditha, Leema and Hari had the crowd mesmerized with the numbers they rendered to prove their vocal prowess. Vivek had the crowd join in for the chorus of the song he sang, which the crowd obliged to, with delight. The batch also witnessed Martial Arts performance by Yovan and Prabhu that was spellbinding and astounding. To add more flavor to the event, Neelam challenged to hold her breath for a minute followed by Abhay who took up the dare of gulping down bottles of water in a single shot. After the talent show, to make things more exciting, a small treasure hunt was organized. The teams had to gather various things that included maximum number of 50 Paise coins, Faculty signatures, different colored pens, etc. The team consisting of Janani, Nivedita, Neelam, Arjun, Aravind and Abdul Aziz emerged as the winners of the treasure hunt event. On the whole the event proved to be an exhilarating platform for the students to throw away their stage fears and demonstrate their talents.
