Moon Walk at IIPM Chennai

Welcoming the freshers, the students of IIPM Chennai organized a freshers party on March 6, 2012. The students stormed into the venue adoring their best outfits with bright smiles. To initially set the ball rolling, Mr. Bharath Kumar welcomed the batch into the campus formally and inducted them about the fresher’s party. With initial apprehensions, the students started to shake their leg on bollywood songs followed by popular English club numbers. The boys broke the ice pretty easily pulling the shy girls too into the dance floor to join them. Soon the warm up ended and the competitions for the evening began. The first contest was for Mr. Fresher for which the girls graciously stayed back from the dance floor as the boys danced with all their heart oblivious to the music being played. After this, the girls took the dance floor while the laid back boys relaxed. Finally, with great contemplation, the best couple for the evening was judged by the staff members of IIPM. Mr. Koushik Harihar was given the Mr. Fresher title and Linita Regi was crowned Ms. Fresher. Nilofar Fathima and Narayanan were adjudged the best dancers for the evening.
