Cricket celebration at IIPM Hyderabad

It was celebration time when all the IIPM students came together to celebrate India’s victory along with Sachin Tendulkar’s 100th ton and Virat Kholi’s match winning innings. One year and five days since he scored his 99th international century, Sachin Tendulkar reached the unprecedented landmark of 100. For over a year a legion of fans had watched in anticipation as Tendulkar strode to the crease in India, England and Australia, and at 17:07 local time, when he nudged towards square leg for a single, there was a collective release of emotions. Virat Kohli on the other hand played a match winning innings of 183 by hitting 22 fours a six and guided India to Victory against Pakistan. The student all together joined hands and had a cake cutting ceremony to celebrate these moments of joy and happiness. The whole of IIPM was a part of this celebration.

IIPM Hyderabad organizes Mirchi Freshers

A fun and excitement filled afternoon was bought to IIPM Hyderabad the second time by Radio Mirchi, Vodafone and Bausch &Lomb. Mirchi Freshers had students of all batches who took part in stylish outfits and confidence to compete with each other to be the next Mr & Miss. Fresher. A bunch of 100 students were present at Taj heights to support the 40 students that were participating in the event. There were two rounds; the first round was to walk on the ramp that reflected the confidence of the contestants. In the second round participants showcase their talents. Arjun Nayar(PGP/FW/11-13) who entertained the audience with his acting skills was awarded as the winner for Mr.Fresher and Akshita (PGP/FW/11-13) who impressed the judges with her dance moves for Miss.Fresher. Students had an amazing time and the gala event came to an end with three cheers to IIPM Hyderabad and Radio Mirchi.
