Cicero's Challenge

Cicero’s Challenge is a one of its kind global debate competition, targeted at the high school students in their final years at school. It brings together young and enthusiastic students on a common platform to showcase their oratory skills, as evident from the name of the event – Cicero’s Challenge – a tribute to one of Greek’s legendary orators.

Mini Cicero's at IIPM Bhopal

On 16th April 2011, Saturday, the mini Cicero’s Challenge 2011 was conducted at IIPM Bhopal in which 3 competitions were organized – JAM, GK Quiz and Creative Writing. More than 60 students from 6 schools (namely St. Mary’s Convent School, Billabong High International School, Campion School, Sanskaar Valley School, World Way International School and Delhi Public School) participated in the event. Prof. Jaideep Mathur felicitated the students. IIPM Faculties, Mrs. Archana Mehra and Mrs. Lizy Zachariah were invited as judges to judge Creative Writing and JAM. IIPM Students were actively involved in organizing the event. Certificates of Achievement were presented to the winners and certificates of participation were presented to all the participants. Lunch and snacks were provided to each student including their activity coordinators.All school students actively participated in all the competitions. The event was very fascinating and thrilling. The entire environment was full of excitement and enthusiasm. Students appreciated the event and expressed their desire to participate in more such events in future as well.
