Farewell

IIPM bids adieu to its outgoing batch with a grand Farewell Party. At the occasion the class toppers and the bright stars of the batch are awarded with certificates and cash prizes while the entire batch is bid adieu in the most pompous manner one may imagine.

IIPM Ahmedabad organises Farewell for the Batch of Spring Summer 10-12

Farewell for the Spring Summer 10-12 batch took place on 19th April 2012 at IIPM Ahmedabad. In any chapter of life, there is always an ending and a time to say goodbye. As the students approached their last day in campus and prepared to venture into the world out there, IIPM Ahmedabad wanted to rewind their memories. So started the journey from where they began, the first day of their college, making friends, having fun, studies, etc till the day when they had to part their ways. To acknowledge their efforts, many awards were kept to mark this day to make it special for the students. First one was for Rank holders where awards were given to brilliant stars who did well in their academics. The awards were given to the students who stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd in respective trimesters. After academic recognition, the event moved to a lighter mood with some games where student and faculty took part together. Subject wise excellence awards were given next. Amitabh Kar Memorial Award for Welfare Economics, Hiran Devi Dhanda Award for Marketing/Organizational Behaviour, Aurobindo Chaudhuri Memorial Award for Best Performance in National Economic Planning were some of the awards given. After student awards, faculty were given awards for their contribution to the institute. The faculty who won the awards were Prof. Bharati Bindrani, Prof. Gaurav Vatsa, Prof. Pramod Yadav, Prof.Robin Thomas, Prof. Snehal Desai and Prof. Paresh Shah. In the student awards, Bright Star award went to Maisura Jariwala and Aurobindo Chaudhuri Memorial Award for best performance in Extra Curricular Activities went to Ram Upadhyaya. In the end the management wished the students all the best for their future endeavors and to have grand and successful lives ahead.
