IIPM Ahmedabad conducts Aurobindo chaudhuri memorial table tennis tournament

Table tennis is the game which requires patience, concentration and power. IIPM Ahmedabad conducted “Aurobindo Chaudhuri Memorial Table tennis Tournament” for students. It was a three day tournament with men’s singles, men’s doubles and women’s singles events. Ten batches and even our faculty had enthusiastically taken part in the events. Plenty of matches were played and the whole tournament was magnificent for all involved. Pratik Kumar Patel (FW/10-12/ISBE-A) won the much coveted Men’s single, with Khush Kothari (FW/10-12/IIPM batch), finishing second. Rohan Pisadiya & Anket Asari won the doubles category while Bhavin Sir and Nishant Sir, Faculty of IIPM, finished second. It was a great tournament and created a vibrant environment in the Ahmedabad Campus.

IIPM Ahmedabad students participate in a Basket Ball Tournament

Entrepreneurship Development institute organized basket ball tournament on 12th February 2012 at Gandhinagar and IIPM had participated with full enthusiasm. On 10th February selection procedure had been done for basket ball team from the college and there were plenty of students took part in selection procedure, at the end of the day only six players were selected from the different batch. In addition to that IIPM students also did some practice on 11th February for the basket ball tournament and after that we went gandhinagar for the main tournament. Students won couple of games there. The students came back with big smile on their face and pride in their heart.

Pandit Dindayal Petroleum University organized basket ball tournament on 03 March 2012 at Gandhinagar and IIPM students participated with full enthusiasm. With much enthusiasm and thrill, the students of IIPM Chandigarh participated in a basket ball tournament. On 1st March selection procedure has been done for basket ball team from the college and there were plenty of students who were excited to take part in it. But only six players qualified from the different batches. Selection procedure was soon followed by practice session and the team arrived for the tournament. The game finally started with a victory in a couple of games but in final match, the IIPM students lost to PDPU College and bagged the first runners up position. Saurin Mehta student of SS/10-12/ ISBE-B declared as a player of the tournament. The cherry on top of the cake was being announced the first runners up team and best participation college. The students came back with big smile on their face and pride in their heart.

IIPM Ahmedabad students participate in Foot Ball Tournament

Pandit Dindayal Petroleum University organized Football tournament under Energy cup 2012 on 03 March 2012 at Gandhinagar and IIPM had participated with full enthusiasm. Marking a significant victory in the first two rounds, the IIPM team made slot for itself in the semi-final by winning against LJ College of Commerce with 3:1 goal. The maximum goals have been shot by Sanket Asari student from Fall/10-12/ISBE-B. It is said that “there is no other substitute of hard work” and students of IIPM Ahmedabad has shown it by their commendable win in the final too against PDPU College.

Torque Club of IIPM Ahmedabad conducts Cricket Tournament

Cricket is the game which has become a religion in India. Be it the world cup, 20-20 or college competition, it has always been and will always be the best loved game in the hearts of us Indians. Recently the Indian cricketers got the world cup home, then why should our students be any behind. A CRICKET TOURNAMENT was conducted for students on 6thDecember 2012. It was a tournament of 8 overs each. The event was held at the Gujarat University ground where ten batches and our faculty had enthusiastically taken part. The match started with lot of enthusiasm and a lot of cheering from the audience and the lovers of the teams. There were lot of sixes and fours that were hit and the audience was enjoying the match to their greatest extent. The entire event was a great success and all the students had taken actively part in each and every match. Other than the team their classmates had also taken part in motivating their team and encouraging them throughout the event. The SS/ISBE/11-13 team won under the captaincy of Harshit Vyas.

IIPM students are runners up at inter college cricket tournament

The cricket team of IIPM Ahmedabad were declared Runner's-Up in the inter-college cricket tournament organized by St.Kabir Institute of Professional Studies. Apart from this our student Tapan Patel was declared 'Best Bowler' of the tournament, Charanjeet Randhawa was declared the 'Best Batsman', and Pratik Sharma was declared the 'Man of the Match'.
